Last Week in Chapel

Last Week in Chapel

We’ve launched a new series called Forgive U, where students are learning about the power and importance of forgiveness. This week, Mrs. Randolph led our lesson, helping students understand that forgiveness is not always easy, but it is God’s plan for His people when they are wronged just as Jesus forgives us.

Our lesson focused on the story of Joseph (Genesis 37–45). Even though Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and faced many hardships, he chose to forgive them, demonstrating God’s love and grace. Through this story, students discovered that forgiveness is an essential part of every Christian’s life.

Power Verse: “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” – Colossians 3:13

We encourage you to continue the conversation at home by discussing times when forgiveness has been difficult and how God gives us the strength to forgive.

Prayer Requests

Our Lower School administration team meets every Friday morning to pray over our students and families. If you have a prayer request, we would love to pray for you specifically. We believe in the power of prayer and are committed to supporting our families through this dedicated time of intercession.

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." I Thessalonians 5:11
