It's hard to believe November is already here! As we enter this season of gratitude, I am reminded of just how much we have to be thankful for at Trinity. This month brings so many special opportunities for our students to celebrate God's goodness, show kindness to others, and make sweet memories with their families. We are looking forward to a wonderful month together!

There are several important updates in this week's newsletter, so be sure to take a look!

We're excited to launch our November reading challenge, God's Word on Gratitude, for our PreK-3rd grade students! Throughout our three-week challenge, students will complete 5 days of Bible reading designed to grow their love for God's Word and nurture grateful hearts. Families will have the opportunity to read and grow together as we prepare for the Thanksgiving season!

Challenge resources will come home in Monday's folder. Watch for a follow-up email on Monday with all the details!

Operation Christmas Child

We are excited to once again partner with Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, to share God’s love with children around the world! Through the simple gift of a shoebox, our Trinity families have the opportunity to bless children in need while helping share the hope and Good News of Jesus Christ.

Be on the lookout for a flyer coming home with your student on Monday, November 2, with more information about how your family can participate.

All completed shoeboxes are due Wednesday, November 18!

Lunch With Our Heroes

We are excited to celebrate our family veterans during the second week of November in honor of Veterans Day! Veterans are invited to join their student for lunch during their regularly scheduled lunchtime. We will have a special seating area set aside to honor our guests and give students an opportunity to share their gratitude for their service. Chapel Moments

In our final lesson of the Buried Treasure chapel series, we learned that God provides all of our blessings and we must always remember to put Him first in our hearts and lives.Through the story of the Rich Young Ruler in Matthew 19, we learned that the things we treasure most reveal what we love most. Jesus wants us to trust Him rather than our possessions and to store up treasures in Heaven by loving God, obeying His Word, giving generously, and showing kindness to others. We discussed that God wants to be first in our hearts because what we treasure most shows what we love most!

Main Focus: I Must Store Up Treasures in Heaven!

Power Verse: “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be." ~Matthew 6:21
