NEW MS & HS CHORUS DIRECTOR

We would like to introduce Mrs. Meagan Dixon, our new MS & HS Chorus Director.  Mrs. Dixon will be joining us in the fall, continuing to build our choral program.  Most of the students know her already, she has been teaching voice lessons (and clarinet) in our Arts Academy, and also helping as our Musical Director for several of our recent theatre productions.  Mrs. Dixon has a degree in Music Education (Vocal Emphasis: K-12) from Lee University.

Many thanks to Mrs. Kara Joy Gregory for the past school year and all the excellence she has brought to this program.   We see great things ahead!  Go Lions!

We have just completed our first project funded by our new Patrons Program, and we are so excited!  The Marching Lions will be traveling in style this upcoming marching season.  THANK YOU to our new Performing Arts Patrons for your generosity!

We are looking for "Founding Members" for this new program, if you are interested please reach out so we can tell you more - deadline for this category is June 30.  It’s a great time to jump in and support all of the Arts programs at Trinity.

Contact Jake Mullins, our Patrons Board President - artspatrons@tcslions.org or ‭470-505-4356‬ // or visit our website: tcslions.org/patrons - we can't wait to get you involved.

This past week, you should have received an email from a company called Forte Athletics. Please be sure to follow the directions in that email and get signed up for our summer workouts.

Starting June 2nd, you will be able to log in and do your workouts to help prep your body and mind for band camp and our season. Everyone will be able to see which sections are staying on top of those workouts to be in top shape for our 2025 season! Even the directors have workouts! So here’s to a little friendly competition over the summer!

Please reach out if you are having any issues with the app. Let’s start prepping now for the best season yet!

Music preparation

We are currently working with music writers to re-write our music to better fit our instrumentation. As soon as I have those I will email them to you, however we may not have them until band camp. Please work on your stand tunes and having those MEMORIZED by band camp.

INSTRUMENT REPAIR

We use Big Note Music for on site repair of many of our musical instruments.  If you have an instrument that needs repair, this may be a great option for you.  The process works with you filling out an online form, pre-paying for the repair, and then they come for a scheduled repair session right on our Trinity campus.  Your student wouldn’t be away from their instrument except when it’s on the repair table.  This convenient option has worked for us for a few years now.  Simply fill out the online form and let us know that a repair has been scheduled.
