HS ONE ACT - TICKETS NOW ON SALE

Tickets are now on sale for Godspell!!

What if the platforms we are given in this life were never meant to be just for us to perform on, but to offer it all back as worship to the Lord? In this exciting, and personal, retelling of GODSPELL, Jesus meets his disciples in a worn, forgotten theater and transforms the space, and the people in it, through story, music, play, and His relational and radical love. As parables come to life and the company discovers the joy of giving their lives back to God, they are challenged to choose between the voices that compete for their attention and the truth Jesus offers.

Join us and experience the story of GODSPELL, a story of love, worship, and the incredible gift of being invited to join Jesus on the stages He gives us.

Performances are:

Friday, October 16th at 7pm

Saturday, October 17th at 2pm and 7pm

LEE UNIVERSITY STUDENT EXPERIENCE

Recently we took 33 students to Lee University in Cleveland, TN for a custom Arts experience.  The university gave our students custom tours, a chapel experience, and Arts-specific clinics and classes where we experienced collegiate level Arts education.  Our students came back inspired and ready to excel!

WELCOME TERAH TUCKER - HS CHORUS

Our HS Chorus has a new director, Ms. Terah Tucker!  She comes with experience teaching voice and piano, leading worship, performing, and composing,  She is committed to helping students develop strong technique, musical confidence, and expressive artistry.

Terah holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Composition from Clayton State University and is an accomplished singer-songwriter who has produced three albums. As a professional vocalist, her experience spans jazz, opera, musical theater, pop, rock, and gospel. She has taught piano and voice students of all ages and loves to inspire them to move beyond simply performing notes on a page and instead engage deeply with the beauty, creativity, and transformative power of music.

And many thanks to Mrs. Meagan Dixon, who will be moving out of state.  She has brought depth and excellence to our Chorus department, both musically and spiritually.  Mrs. Meagan, you will be missed!

PATRONS PROGRAM

MANY THANKS to our generous patrons for supporting the Arts.  The newest addition to our department is this golf cart, coming on campus THIS WEEK!  We will benefit from this cart in a number of ways, including:

  • To and from the field for Marching Lions rehearsals and games

  • Back and forth from storage areas and between buildings for Theatre rehearsals and shows

  • Outdoor events setting up various media systems

  • General use with the heavier gear we use regularly for the Arts

We have learned (quickly) that the Arts is very tangible.  We use physical equipment, even as we live in a digital world.  This cart will help tremendously as we continue to perform and present the amazing creativity that our students are producing.  And we say THANK YOU!!

2026-27 Patrons List - Join NOW!

We would like to invite you to partner with our Arts programs through our Performing Arts Patrons Program.  This is a way to directly support our students in the Arts through your generosity.  If you would like more information, or to give, please visit www.tcslions.org/patrons or contact us and we would be glad to answer your questions.

Here is a list of 2025-26 projects completed:

  • Wrapped Marching Lions trailer

  • Complete remodel of the PAD rehearsal space

  • Marching Lions supply for their season and beyond

  • New instruments and cases

  • Additional musical supplies for our classrooms and spaces

This coming year we plan to do projects like these:

  • New golf cart for use by all Arts departments

  • Media console for in-class instruction as we train our students to run live events

  • Supplies and cabinets to set our new teachers up for success the first days of school

  • Construction of storage space for better theatrical functionality

  • New instruments for band and orchestra

  • Marching Band carriers and stands for our percussionists

  • Marching Band speakers and gear to enhance halftime experiences

We are seeking Family and Corporate Sponsors to join us as we continue to grow in the Arts, with a variety of perks for you at each level of giving.  Your generosity helps us do projects like these and more, as this program is designed to invest in the next generation of artists, musicians, and performers.  Join us as we invest in the Arts, and inspire the future!  At TCS, our Patrons are truly “All About the Arts!!”

INSTRUMENT REPAIR

We use Big Note Music for on site repair of many of our musical instruments.  If you have an instrument that needs repair, this may be a great option for you.  The process works with you filling out an online form, pre-paying for the repair, and then they come for a scheduled repair session right on our Trinity campus.  Your student wouldn’t be away from their instrument except when it’s on the repair table.  This convenient option has worked for us for a few years now.  Simply fill out the online form and let us know that a repair has been scheduled.
