We are super excited to announce that Mrs. Sara Kuchinki will join Trinity Christian School as the new Head Volleyball coach! With eleven years of coaching experience at the club, high school, and college levels we are so very excited about the leadership and experience she will bring to TCS.
Kuchinski is originally from Arkansas and moved to Georgia in 2019. While in Arkansas, she began playing volleyball at age 9 all the way through high school. She received the honor of being named team captain on both her high school and club volleyball teams when she was 14 years old. Kuchinski also received All Conference, All State, and All Star MVP awards her junior and senior years in high school.
Kuchinski pursued her volleyball career at Ouachita Baptist University (2012) where she became their starting setter. After her freshman year, she was unable to continue in her athletic pursuit due to a career ending shoulder injury. Kuchinski transferred to the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) where she earned her degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition (2017). Along the way she was able to work as a volunteer assistant coach at UCA from 2013-2015. Kuchinski also coached for 501 Volleyball Club (2011-2015) and Conway Juniors Volleyball Club (2016-2019). During her time at Conway Juniors she served as Assistant Director, Director of Coaches, and helped start Conway Juniors first beach program.
Before coming to TCS, Kuchinski coached two years at 575 volleyball club for their 18 National teams. For the last three years Kuchinski has been at the helm of the volleyball program at North Cobb Christian School where she also taught middle school PE. In her first season at NCCS she led her team to an 18-15 record, 3rd place in Region, and a Sweet 16 finish in State. In 2020, she led the way to a 22-11 finish overall. Claiming NCCS’s first Region title in NCCS history, finishing ranked 13th out of 43 teams in Private Schools in Georgia, and 51st overall in the State of Georgia. In her last season with NCCS the team finished 20-14 overall, Region Runner-Up, and broke into the Elite 8 for the first time in school history, finishing 10th in State.
