MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Dear Trinity Families,
As we enter Finals Week, I want to speak a word of peace and encouragement over your homes. This is a meaningful stretch for our students, a time to demonstrate all they have learned, to finish strong and to trust God with their efforts. While finals can naturally bring a bit of pressure, they also present a beautiful opportunity for families to come alongside their students with grace and support.
I’d like to encourage you to create a warm and calm environment over the next several days. Studies consistently show that a quiet space to focus, reduced activity, fewer distractions and plenty of rest can make a tremendous difference. Fill your home with good food, encouraging words and the kind of peace that reminds our students they are loved far beyond any exam score.
Let’s help them study diligently and find confidence in the strength God provides. “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength” (Isaiah 30:15). May this truth settle over our households as our students prepare.
Thank you for partnering with us as we guide your sons and daughters toward excellence and a deeper trust in the Lord. Your quiet support often goes unnoticed, but it is never unfelt. We see God’s hand at work in the lives of our students and we remain grateful for the way you walk with them during this important season.

Last week in Chapel
This week in chapel, our 7th-grade Bible teacher, Mr. Moore, challenged our HS students to reflect on the Incarnation as we enter the Advent season. Opening with a video showing a man lowering himself into a deep pit to rescue someone who had fallen in, Mr. Moore sought to emphasize that the beauty of the Incarnation is that the Son of God willingly lowered Himself into our world by taking on flesh, not simply to dwell among us but to rescue and raise us from the curse of sin. We looked in John chapter 1, Philippians chapter 2, and 2 Corinthians 8:9, which states: "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich”. Mr. Moore emphasized that meditating on the Incarnation this Christmas season is not simply a theological endeavor but an ethical call to humbly love and serve the undeserving in our lives as Christ loved and served us. Mr. Moore concluded with the challenge to allow the truth of the Incarnation to produce greater gratitude and humility in our hearts and then appealed to the lost to receive the Lord Jesus, believe in His name, and be born again as a child of God. (John 1:12-13)
