MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

As we returned from Thanksgiving Break this week, it has been such a blessing to see our students back on campus refreshed and ready to finish this semester strong. There is something truly special about the energy that fills our hallways when our students are together again. Their enthusiasm reminds us why we do what we do and how faithful God has been to our school family.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all the parents who joined us for our recent Coffee and Donuts event. We discussed an important topic you chose, which was Academic Engagement and Support.  Your partnership and support mean a lot and we certainly value your commitment to walking alongside us as we help your students pursue excellence in all they do.

As we enter these final weeks of the semester, let’s remain encouraged and steadfast. God’s Word gives us the strength and assurance we need during busy seasons. “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1Thessalonians 5:1.

May we continue to uplift one another and finish the semester with purpose and joy. I am grateful for each of you and for the community God has placed here at Trinity.

Last week in Chapel

This week in chapel, our 7th-grade Bible teacher, Mr. Moore, challenged our HS students to reflect on the Incarnation as we enter the Advent season. Opening with a video showing a man lowering himself into a deep pit to rescue someone who had fallen in, Mr. Moore sought to emphasize that the beauty of the Incarnation is that the Son of God willingly lowered Himself into our world by taking on flesh, not simply to dwell among us but to rescue and raise us from the curse of sin. We looked in John chapter 1, Philippians chapter 2, and 2 Corinthians 8:9, which states: "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich”. Mr. Moore emphasized that meditating on the Incarnation this Christmas season is not simply a theological endeavor but an ethical call to humbly love and serve the undeserving in our lives as Christ loved and served us. Mr. Moore concluded with the challenge to allow the truth of the Incarnation to produce greater gratitude and humility in our hearts and then appealed to the lost to receive the Lord Jesus, believe in His name, and be born again as a child of God. (John 1:12-13)

The order for AP Exams has been placed, and students will incur a $50 fee per exam. Their Blackbaud accounts will be charged in December.

11th GRADE PSAT RESULTS

PSAT results for 11th grade students who took the recent administration in October have been released. Students can find their results by logging in to their College Board account. We will also have the results posted in their Blackbaud dashboard as soon as possible.

FALL SEMESTER GRADES

The first semester is rapidly moving along, as we only have five weeks left in the grading period. Students should be aware of their current grade in each one of their classes and connect with their teacher for ways to improve their grade. This would include getting assignments completed on time, turning in late work that can still be accepted and using their Do-Over assignment opportunities if they have not already done so.

All failed courses remain on the transcript. Any course that is not passed will have to be made up in order to receive the necessary credit for graduation. Students who fail a semester course will be notified by the counseling department of their options for completing failed courses

SAT DATES FOR 2025-26
