MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Dear Trinity Families and Students,
It has been such a joy to see our students returning to campus with energy. After navigating a season where several of our students were out due to the flu prior to Christmas and New Year’s Break, it has been a tremendous blessing to welcome so many back healthy and ready to learn. While a few students are still recovering, we remain grateful and confident in the Lord, knowing that our health and strength ultimately come from Him.
As we continue moving forward together, I would also like to encourage each of our parents to look for meaningful ways to get involved at Trinity. Whether through your time, talents, or treasures, we truly desire to see our Trinity parents on campus and engage in the life of our school. I am continually encouraged as I meet families throughout the year and I look forward to building even stronger relationships with each of you.
Finally, I want to remind both students and parents that the second semester represents an academic restart. This is a fresh opportunity to pursue excellence each day. Students, do not hesitate to ask questions or seek help when you do not fully understand content. Your teachers are here to support you and walk alongside you. Our heart is to help every student achieve their academic goals while preparing you for all that God has planned for your lives.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5–6 (ESV)
Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we walk this journey together.

Last week in Chapel
Last week, we introduced a series that will run throughout the semester and follows the historic Christian practice of teaching both the Lord’s Prayer and the Ten Commandments to new believers. Its purpose is to challenge the idea that God’s commands are optional, to correct false teaching that the Old Testament has no relevance for Christian life, and to help students understand how Christians relate to God’s law today.
While Christ has fulfilled and abolished the ceremonial and civil laws, the moral law—summarized in the Ten Commandments—remains binding. God’s law functions as a mirror, revealing our need for a Savior, a curb for restraining sin in our culture, and a guide for grateful Christian living.
