MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Dear Trinity Families and Students,
As we prepare for the week ahead, I want to remind you that there will be no school this Monday as we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This is a meaningful time to pause and reflect on a life that modeled courage, faith and a commitment to justice grounded in love. Dr. King reminded our nation that true change begins in the heart and that we are called to treat one another with dignity, compassion and unity.
May we use this day to encourage our children to be peacemakers, to stand for what is right, and to walk in love toward all people, living out Christ’s call to be the light in a world that needs hope.
Preparing the Next Generation of Trinity Lions
As we look ahead to the coming school year, we recently had the privilege of meeting with our 8th-grade students who will soon transition into Trinity Christian School’s High School program. This intentional time was designed to cast vision and prepare students for the important academic, spiritual and personal growth that comes with entering high school. Students toured classrooms, explored unique programs and heard powerful testimonies from graduating seniors who shared how Trinity shaped their faith and prepared them for their next journey. We emphasized that high school is not simply about having more freedom; it is about learning to steward responsibility, own one’s faith, and grow into leadership. At Trinity, we believe finishing what God has started within a Christ-centered community matters deeply. We look forward with great anticipation to welcoming these students as the next generation of Trinity Lions.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we walk this journey together.

Last week in Chapel
Last week in chapel, Bible teacher Sam Howard preached through Psalm 19, which presents a sweeping vision of God’s glory revealed in three movements. First, creation itself proclaims God’s majesty, silently yet powerfully declaring His handiwork to all the world (vv. 1–6). Second, God’s law further reveals His glory, being perfect, trustworthy, and life-giving—able to restore the soul and impart wisdom (vv. 7–11). Finally, the worshiper responds with humility and dependence, praying not for control but for cleansing, guidance, and stability in God alone (vv. 12–14). True worship flows from revelation into reliance, resting on God as our sure foundation.

ACADEMIC MATTERS
AP PSYCHOLOGY FIELD TRIP
The AP Psychology class taught by Mrs. Bragg recently put their problem-solving skills to the test during an escape room experience designed to reinforce key psychological concepts. Working collaboratively under time pressure, students applied critical thinking, communication, and logical reasoning to solve a series of challenging puzzles. Divided into two teams, both groups successfully escaped by using effective teamwork and strategic thinking. The activity provided an engaging, hands-on way to connect classroom learning to real-world scenarios while strengthening perseverance. and collaboration. Overall, it was a fun and memorable learning experience that brought psychology to life beyond the classroom.
