MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Did you know that Joy is different than happiness?  Happiness often depends on circumstances, a good grade, a win on the court, a smooth week at work. But joy is deeper. Joy is rooted in confidence. Joy is grounded in purpose. Joy flows from knowing who we are and whose we are.  In John 15:11, Jesus tells His disciples, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” What a powerful reminder that joy is not something we manufacture, it is something we receive when we remain connected to Him.  As a school community, we experience joy when we see growth. We experience joy when students discover their gifts. We experience joy when families partner with us in shaping both the minds and hearts of our children.  Next week marks an important step in that journey….Course Registration Week.

March 2nd – March 9th.

Beginning this Monday, March 2nd, students will have the opportunity to review our High School Course Catalogue and begin selecting the classes that interest them for next year. This process will close on Monday, March 9th.

Course registration is more than scheduling, it is stewardship. It is prayerfully considering gifts, interests, goals and calling. Whether a student is pursuing College Prep, Tech Certified, or Ministry pathways, each choice represents growth and forward movement.

We encourage families to review the Course Catalogue together and have meaningful conversations about strengths, interests and future aspirations.

Please see the link to our Course Catalogue below.

As we enter this season of planning and preparation, may we choose joy, not because everything is perfect, but because God is at work. He is forming minds. He is shaping hearts. He is guiding futures.

And that, Trinity family, is reason to rejoice.

LAST WEEK IN CHAPEL

Pastor BJ Cobb from FBC Senoia preached Matthew 6:10. The sermon centered on the prayer, “Your kingdom come.” John the Baptist pointed to King Jesus, preparing the way for the true ruler. Jesus Christ preached the Kingdom, announcing that God’s reign had broken into history. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He established the Kingdom—and even now, the Kingdom is here. So why pray for it to come? Because He’s not done with you. Not everyone has heard the good news. And the King is returning. We pray with hope, longing for His reign to fill every heart and every corner of creation.

Academic Matters

From Intro to Healthcare Science Teacher, Mrs. Kacey White

We were honored to welcome TCS Parent, Dr. Sal Ramos, MD to our Introduction to Healthcare Science classes this week. Dr. Ramos is a physician specializing in geriatric and palliative medicine at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. He shared insights from his career caring for older adults and patients facing serious, long-term, and life-limiting illnesses.

Students learned how geriatric and palliative care focus not only on treating disease, but also on improving quality of life, managing symptoms, supporting families, and honoring patient goals. One of the most powerful takeaways from his visit was the importance of teamwork and empathy in healthcare. He emphasized how physicians collaborate closely with nurses, social workers, physical therapists, chaplains, pharmacists, and many other professionals to provide compassionate, comprehensive care.

His message highlighted that healthcare is truly a team effort, especially when caring for patients with complex medical needs. We are grateful for the time he spent inspiring our students and helping them better understand the meaningful and collaborative work involved in caring for individuals at every stage of life.
