MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

This week, I witnessed something truly special at Trinity Christian School.  Our Seniors have been participating in prayer walks throughout the high school, intentionally praying for our teachers, students, and administration. Watching our students take spiritual leadership in this way has been deeply encouraging.

Earlier this week, three Seniors walked into my office and asked a simple but powerful question: “Mr. Wheeler, is there anything we can pray for you about?” I shared a request, and they began to pray.

As they prayed, it became clear that the Holy Spirit was guiding their words in a way that only He can. They prayed with sincerity, wisdom, and bold faith. In that moment, I found myself overcome with joy and gratitude. I wept, not out of sorrow, but out of amazement at what God is doing through the hearts of our students.  Moments like this remind me that spiritual formation is not just something we teach; it is something we live.

Parents, I want to encourage you to continue underscoring the importance of prayer in your homes. Pray with your children. Encourage them to seek the Lord and to walk confidently in their faith, knowing that God hears their prayers.

Our school is stronger when our students pray.
Our school is stronger when our parents pray.
Our school is stronger when our teachers and administration pray.

God is doing something special at Trinity Christian School and we are grateful to be witnesses to His work.

Thank you for your continued prayers and partnership.

Class Selections began this week.  Our students in High School chose the classes they would like to take along with teacher recommendations.  We will use the next couple of weeks to build out our 2026-2027 student class schedule.  These will be reviewed and communicated this month.  We are super excited as this is a large step into next school year.

LAST WEEK IN CHAPEL

This week Adam Vinson, UE/MS principal preached from Matthew 6:10, where Jesus teaches His followers to pray, “Your will be done.” Our willingness to pray this sincerely is shaped by what we believe about God. If we truly believe that God is good and that His plans are better than our own, we will desire His will above ours. Two convictions support this prayer: first, that the Person of God is perfectly good in character, and second, that His plan is wiser and best for our lives. Trusting these truths leads to two important results. We learn to embrace contentment with the will God has for us, even when it differs from our expectations. At the same time, we resist comparing our lives with others, trusting that God’s wise and good will is uniquely designed for each person.
