MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

As we begin a new week at Trinity Christian School, Monday marks an important milestone for our High School students, the start of the 4th Quarter. It is hard to believe how quickly this school year has moved, and this final quarter represents an opportunity for every student to finish strong. It also brings a mixture of excitement and responsibility. For some students, it means preparing for final projects, exams and academic milestones. For our seniors, it marks the beginning of the final stretch of their high school journey, a season filled with reflection and celebrations.

This final quarter is also a time to be intentional. I encourage our students to stay focused on their academic goals, remain engaged in their classes and continue demonstrating the character of a Christ-centered leader that makes Trinity so special. When we commit to finishing well, we honor the gifts and opportunities God has given us.

Also, did you know we are now less than two weeks away from our Annual GO Week?  GO Week is one of the most impactful experiences of the year for our students. During this week, our students will step outside the classroom and into opportunities to serve others, share the love of Christ and make a meaningful difference in international, regional and local communities.  GO Week represents the heart of who we are at Trinity which is developing students who are not only academically prepared but also spiritually grounded and service-minded.

I encourage you to visit our GO Week website at TCS GO Week to learn more about the projects and mission opportunities our students will be participating in. Most importantly, I ask that you continue to pray for our students as they prepare for this important week. Pray that God would use them in powerful ways, that their hearts would be open to serving others and that their experiences would strengthen their faith and perspective. Thank you for your continued partnership, prayers and support of TCS. We are excited about what lies ahead as we move forward together.

LAST WEEK IN CHAPEL

Last week in chapel students approached a study of the fifth commandment from Book of Exodus 20:12, emphasizing that honoring parents is foundational to a rightly ordered life under God’s authority. In a culture that prizes youth and autonomy, Scripture calls believers to honor father and mother with reverence, love, humility, and obedience in word and deed. Parents are entrusted by God to care for, provide for, protect, and spiritually shepherd their children, while children are called to obey them as practice for obedience to God. The command extends beyond childhood, including gratitude and care for parents in their weakness or old age. The command carries a promise of blessing, reminding students that honoring parents reflects trust in God’s authority and promotes life within His covenant community.
