The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph
I am giving a BIG shout out to ALL of our Lower School students who performed in the elementary talent show! Our students displayed such talent, courage, and creativity. We are so proud of each one of them. It was such a fun and entertaining night!
If you have not re-enrolled for the 2022-23 school year, please be sure to save your spot. Open enrollment begins on March 1st.
Lower School Reading Challenge
The Lower School is excited to announce that our classes will be celebrating Read Across America through a friendly reading contest. As a tribute to Dr. Seuss’s birthday, the contest will begin Monday, February 28th and continue until Sunday, March 6th. On February 28th, your child will bring home a reading log in their purple folder. Students are encouraged to color in a ‘box’ for every 5 minutes they read per day. Students may read independently or with a parent. Please turn in the completed reading log on Monday, March 7th to your classroom teacher. A special prize will be given to the classes who read the most amount of minutes in their grade level! Happy Reading!
Last Week in Chapel
Pastor Kami finished up our series called “Jesus is Worth It!” This week’s lesson was about how Jesus loves us and we need to share His love with everyone. We have the choice to keep God’s love and truth to ourselves or to share it.
Main Idea: Jesus loves EVERYONE!
Bible verse: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Key Take-away Point: “Jesus loves me, this I know!"
Read Across America Week, February 28-March 4

Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday (Wear mismatched/backwards clothes). If your child participates, they do not need to wear a regular uniform.

IOWA Testing Date Change
To help provide our teachers with additional instructional time and to give our students more exposure to their grade level content, we are moving our standardized testing week to May 2-6. We are exploring the option of being able to complete our testing online as well. More specific information will be provided soon.
Pre-Absence Requests
Please note that pre-absence forms must be submitted five days prior to the first date of the absence. This will allow your child's teacher adequate time to prepare assignments for the absence period. If this form is submitted less than five days from the absence, the student will receive the missing work upon return.

After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news.
Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.
