The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph

I am happy to announce that Lower School students have been assigned to classes! I appreciate your prayers, as we invest much time and thought into each student's placement. We do our very best to accommodate any student friend requests that we receive, however; please know that it is impossible to accommodate all of the requests. When placing students into classes, we take into account many things (boy/girl ratio, academic needs, group dynamics, parent and teacher feedback, etc.). Due to the numerous factors that are considered in class placement, it is not possible to change your child’s placement once it has been posted. We trust that each child is exactly where God wants them to be!

This information will be available to view on Blackbaud Monday, August 1st. You can access this information by clicking on your child’s name. Scroll down to view their homeroom class. To view the class roster, click on the name of the class to visit the Class Page. You can then click on Roster to view your child’s classmates. You will receive a notification when your child's schedule and classroom number are able to be viewed.

Teachers have already begun preparing for your child’s arrival. We can’t wait to meet our students! We are looking forward to seeing all of our families very soon!

Debbie Jones was born and raised in Newnan.  She graduated from the University of West Georgia with a master's degree in Early Childhood Education.  Jones previously taught second and third grade in Coweta County for 28 years then at Landmark for 2 years. She lives in Newnan with her husband, Jay, and twins Ellie and Will (4th grade).  They are members of the First Baptist Church in Newnan. In her free time, she loves watching her kids play soccer and baseball. Mrs. Jones is very excited to be joining the Trinity family as a second-grade teacher.

Second Grade Teacher, Gina Smeal

Gina Smeal grew up in Temperance, Michigan and completed her teaching degree at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.  She went on to earn a Master’s degree in counseling from Wake Forest University and has called Georgia home for the past 12 years.  Having become a Trinity family 6 years ago, Gina, her husband (Steve) and son (Dominic) live in Fayetteville.  Gina’s son is a member of the Trinity class of 2025, and her husband serves as an assistant coach for the Trinity varsity baseball team.  From January thru May, you can find her cheering on her son, husband and the entire Lions baseball program.  It helps that her classroom window sits directly behind home plate!  Mrs. Smeal considers herself blessed to do what she loves at a school like Trinity and is excited to welcome her students for the 2022-2023 school year!

First Grade Teacher, Marilyn Teat

Marilyn Teat is from north Georgia but has lived for over 30 years in Fayette County. She met her husband in college, and they have three grown children and three grandchildren. Her husband works at Mowell Funeral Home. Teaching is her passion, but she has also served as an assistant principal in the Fayette County school district. She loves dogs and raises Boston Terriers and Yorkies.

Kindergarten Teacher, Kelly Jaczko

Kelly Jaczko is a New Jersey native who relocated to Peachtree City, with her husband and two daughters, 9 years ago. She graduated from Cedar Crest College, with a bachelor’s in Elementary Education. She has worked with children and families for more than two decades and truly enjoys incorporating her love of the Lord within her classroom. Mrs. Jaczko is beyond excited to be a part of the Trinity family teaching Kindergarten this upcoming school year.

Preschool K4 Teacher, Brittany Calhoun

Brittany Calhoun was born and raised in Canton, GA. She graduated from Lee University and became a Kid’s Pastor for about two years. She recently got married in March 2022 to her husband, Ben Calhoun. Brittany and Ben moved south of Atlanta to accept a youth pastor position at Go Church.
