The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph
As we approach the last week of the semester, we have many exciting things happening! Our students will be practicing for their programs, participating in fun Christmas activities, dressing up for our Christmas spirit days, and much more!
Our Christmas Extravaganza is this Thursday, December 15th from 6:00-9:00pm. This is a spectacular holiday event for our Lower School families. We will have grade level performances, our Christmas Tree Stroll, food trucks, photo opportunities, winter- themed inflatables, a Christmas train, and more! Please visit https://tcslions.org/christmas-extravaganza/ for more info! We are anticipating a large crowd at this event. Please carpool with family if at all possible.
Please join us in collecting items for Trinity Church’s food pantry. Items may be sent in with your child Monday-Thursday or brought to the Christmas Extravaganza. Thank you for supporting our community!
Bloom Our Youth Organization
A BIG shoutout to our preschool and kindergarten families for supporting the Bloom’s Angel Tree. Our parents provided 140 toys for over 80 foster children! Thank you or your generosity! This is an outstanding representation of our Trinity community.

We will be using a system called PickUp Patrol at our Go Church Campus ONLY to help us track dismissals. This system will be implemented on Monday, January 3, 2023. It will help us ensure that our students are dismissed to their correct after-school destination. PLEASE NOTE: Changes must be submitted by 1:00pm on the day of the change. You will not be able to make changes after the 1:00pm deadline.
Through December 15, emails to Christian.Wade@tcslions.org will be accepted for changes, but starting January 3, all changes should be submitted through PickUp Patrol.
Remote Learning Day, December 16th
As we head into Christmas break and wrap up semester one, we have a remote learning day on Friday, December 16th. Your child’s teacher will send home an optional packet of Christmas activities for your child to complete. Since the holidays are a great opportunity to make family memories, we are sending home a Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt and a Family Bingo Card with fun Christmas activities to complete together throughout the break.
Last Week in Chapel
Last week in Chapel we finished our series called “Never Forget.” Over the last 7 weeks we have been learning about many important things that God wants us to remember. Pastor Kami taught that we must “Care for Others Like Jesus Would” and we memorized Psalm 145:9, which says, “The Lord is good to everyone. He shows compassion for all His creation.”
We looked at Matthew 20 when Jesus made time to heal 2 blind beggars. Aren’t you so thankful that Jesus always has time for us and sets the example for us in how to love and care for others? We were challenged to look around and see those who are feeling lonely or left out and to go out of our way to show them God’s love.
House System Competition
Check out who is leading the competition at www.tcshouses.weebly.com.
Elementary Clubs
Our students love to participate in our elementary clubs. These clubs are designed for 1st-5th grade students and meet after school dismisses.
Staying Informed and Up-to-date with
Classroom Happenings
To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. I encourage you to login each week. Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.
Accessing your child's class information weekly:
Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children".
Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.
After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news.
Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.
