The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph

Our reading challenge was a huge success! Our students read a total of 68,805 minutes last week! That’s over 1,100 hours of reading! Thank you, Parents, for encouraging the love of reading in your children. I am so proud of our students! Here are the top classes per grade level:

  • PreK: Mrs. Calvert's class read a total 1,765 minutes!

  • K5: Mrs. Moore's class read a total of 1,630 minutes!

  • 1st: Ms. George's class read a total of 3,505 minutes!

  • 2nd: Mrs. Smeal's class read a toal of 4,580 minutes!

  • 3rd: Mrs. Jaroszewski's class read a total of 7,800 minutes!

Last Week in Chapel

Last week in Chapel Pastor Kami taught the 3rd verse of Psalm 23 in “The Lord is My Shepherd” series. King David wrote, “He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name.” We learned that when we are weak, God is the one who makes us strong. We can go to Him when we are feeling tired, worn down by life, stressed out, and He will fill us up with His power and strength.
