The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph

This week, we have the joy of celebrating our Lower School family veterans during the week of Veteran’s Day! We are so grateful for the brave men and women who have served our country, and we look forward to honoring them in a special way.

Veterans are invited to join their students for lunch on their scheduled lunchtime. We’ll have a reserved seating area to make our guests feel extra special and to give students the chance to personally say, “Thank you for your service.”

While you’re here, be sure to stop by our Veteran Hero Wall and snap a photo with your student—a beautiful way to remember this special time together. A heartfelt thank you to all the families who sent in photos and stories for our Veteran Hero Wall! It is a beautiful display of honor, gratitude, and legacy.

Space is limited to one class per grade level each day, so please RSVP using the link below.

Reading Challenge!

We are excited to continue our new reading challenge for 1st–3rd graders: God's Word on Gratitude! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to grow in thankfulness and deepen their love for God's Word. Students are encouraged to complete all five challenges anytime during our three-week November window.

Families are encouraged to read together! This challenge is designed to be a sweet time of family connection and a meaningful way to nurture grateful hearts as we prepare for Thanksgiving.

Student booklets were sent home in your child's folder. Keep an eye out for Monday’s email with all the details!

Operation Christmas Child

It’s that wonderful time of year again when Trinity Christian School partners with Operation Christmas Child (OCC) to pack shoebox gifts for children in need! OCC is the largest project of Samaritan’s Purse, with a mission to share God’s love in a tangible way and, together with local churches worldwide, spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations.

Chapel Moments

In Chapel Mrs. Randolph led a lesson called Give Thanks, teaching students that we must live a life of thankfulness. Through the story of the ten lepers, students learned the importance of expressing gratitude to God for everything He has done for us and will continue to do. We reflected on James 1:17 (“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father…..”).

Main Focus: We must live a life of thankfulness.

Whatchaddaknow: I will be thankful every single day!

Power Verse: “Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness.” – 1 Chronicles 16:8
