The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph
Many of our Lower School students performed in Winnie the Pooh this past week, and it was absolutely adorable! We are so proud of our many star performers who worked hard, showed confidence, and brought the story to life on stage. Great job to our students and everyone who helped make the production such a success!
Our 3rd grade students will take the Stanford Achievement Test Series (SAT-10) on Monday and Tuesday, March 16–17. This norm-referenced assessment provides a snapshot of student progress and measures growth and mastery of skills and content in comparison to a national standard.
Please make every effort to have your third grader present and on time both days so testing can begin promptly and disruptions are minimized. There will not be any makeup testing, so attendance during these two days is very important.
We also encourage students to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast before coming to school so they can be focused and ready to do their best. Thank you for helping ensure a smooth and focused testing environment for our students.

Chapel Moments
We had a wonderful time in Chapel this week as Mrs. Moore taught our last lesson in our Listen Up series. In this series, we have talked about the importance of listening to God and to other wise voices in our lives. This week, we focused on the importance of using our voice to help others and to share God’s love through the message of the gospel. We discussed how our voice can be used to encourage others and build them up. Through the Bible story of Paul found in Acts 27:13-26, we discussed how Paul used kind, positive words even to people that were considered his enemy.
Main Focus: We must be a voice that others can listen to!
Power Verse: “Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body." Proverbs 16:24
