The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph
What a special day for our Lower School! We loved celebrating our First Responders Appreciation Day and welcoming these incredible men and women to our campus. Students from PreK through 3rd grade enjoyed meeting our first responders, learning more about what they do, and most importantly, having the opportunity to say thank you for the many ways they serve and protect our community.
The day also served as a special service project for our preschoolers, who proudly presented each visiting agency with a large gift basket filled with goodies to take back and share with their station.
A huge thank you to our preschool families who donated items and helped make this day so meaningful. We are especially grateful for the first responders within our own Trinity family, as well as our TCS Security Team, who faithfully serve and help keep our students, staff, and campus safe each day. We appreciate you!

Thank you all for your extreme generosity in giving to the Annual Fund this year, especially at a time when economic challenges are on the rise. Chapel Moments
We had a great time in chapel this week as Mrs. Randolph continued our Life Lab series, where we are learning about the essential elements of a healthy Christian life. Last week’s lesson focused on having a song in your heart and not allowing people or circumstances to steal your song. Our students were reminded that even when things don’t go our way, we can choose joy and keep our hearts focused on God.

Pre-Absence Request Form
Planning a family trip or other scheduled absence? Please complete the Pre-Absence Request Form in advance of any planned absence. Once completed, the form should be submitted to Mrs. Ashley Moore at ashley.moore@tcslions.org for review.
Lower School Spirit Wear & DEN Shirts
Show your school spirit all year long! Lower School families have the opportunity to purchase optional grade-level spirit wear, including our official Den shirts. Spirit wear is a fun way for students to show their school pride throughout the year, and Den shirts are the perfect choice for Den Days!

Our Lower School administration team meets every Wednesday to pray over our students and families. If you have a prayer request, we would love to pray for you specifically. We believe in the power of prayer and are committed to supporting our families through this dedicated time of intercession. "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." Fill Out the Form: Provide details about your request in the form below by clicking on the link. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
Submit Confidentially: All submissions are kept confidential and are only shared with our Lower School administration team who will lift your request in prayer.
Staying Informed and Up-to-date with
Classroom Happenings
To stay informed of what’s happening in your child’s classroom, please login into Blackbaud weekly. You will be able to see information such as weekly classroom announcements, upcoming events, weekly academic focus, grades, attendance, etc. This is the key to staying informed and replaces hardcopy newsletters. I encourage you to login each week. Information will be updated each Sunday at 5pm.
Accessing your child's class information weekly:
Login to your Blackbaud account and select your child's name under "Children".
Find your child's homeroom class under the "Progress" tab by scrolling down to where classes are listed.
After selecting the homeroom class, you will see the teacher's main class page where you will locate upcoming dates, class reminders and news.
Select the "Topics" tab to see specific information for each individual subject. Within each subject folder, you will see a plan for the week and upcoming projects and test information.
The "Topics" pages update each Sunday evening at 5pm and will remain current until the following Sunday evening.
