WELCOME NEW INSTRUCTORS -

AILEEN ALCANTARA & TERAH TUCKER!!

Aileen Alcantara - Piano, Voice - aileen.alcantara@gmail.com

Aileen Alcantara is a dedicated educator who has taught across the South since 2005. She develops well-rounded pianists who excel, not only in technical proficiency, but in creative expression and musical stewardship.

Aileen holds degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and Western Governors University. She began playing piano at age four and was competing and composing throughout the state by age nine. Her commitment to sharing music spans over two decades as an audio engineer, choir director, percussion clinician, songwriting teacher, Alzheimer’s outreach musician, and more. She taught PreK-12th grade for several years before shifting her focus to her private piano studio in Austin, Texas.

Aileen is the proud mom of Nate (17), Emmy (15), Elly (12), Charlie (11), and Silas (5). When she is not cheering for her kids at cross-country, track, soccer, or ballet, Aileen enjoys coffee and crocheting by Buck and Samba, the family dog and cat. Currently, she serves as a pianist and keyboardist for CrossPointe Church Peachtree City. Aileen is an active performer, singing and providing live music for special events and venues throughout Fayette and Coweta counties.

Whether a student aims to play for personal enjoyment, lead worship, or pursue a professional music career, Aileen gives her students the tools they need to build solid musical foundations and shape their artistic path. She rejoices over the unique talents of each child and celebrates growth through grit, passion, and purposeful practice.

Through lessons, Aileen helps students cultivate a love of music and a deep connection with the piano that lasts a lifetime.

Terah Tucker - Voice, Piano - terahlynn2@gmail.com

Terah Tucker is a dedicated voice and piano instructor, performer, and songwriter with a lifelong passion for music and ministry. With over 30 years of experience as a worship leader in churches on both the East and West coasts, along with more than five years of teaching piano and voice, she is committed to helping students develop strong technique, musical confidence, and expressive artistry. Her experience as the host of a Christian music podcast, live radio co-host, and audiobook narrator brings a warm, engaging approach and creative insight to her teaching.

Terah holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Composition from Clayton State University and is an accomplished singer-songwriter who has produced three albums. As a professional vocalist, her experience spans jazz, opera, musical theater, pop, rock, and gospel. On February 14th, our Music Arts Academy shone brightly as two 5th graders, Reagan Bartlett and Hazel McNeely, competed in the Coweta-Fayette Music Teachers Association Local Auditions — earning an Outstanding Performance!

Local Auditions are the opening round of the GMTA Pre-College Piano Competition, where students face off by memorizing and performing two contrasting pieces: one Baroque or Classical and one Romantic, Impressionist, or Contemporary. Reagan and Hazel blew the judges away and both advanced to Regionals with dreams of reaching the State competition in April. They also aced the required music theory exam!

ALL THINGS THEATRE

Newsies! Audition Information

Georgia Thespian Conference 2026

This year, we were able to bring over 30 students to the Georgia Thespian Conference in Columbus, GA. Our students joined 6,000 High School Thespians from across the state of Georgia for three days of workshops, performances, and fellowship. Our Lions shined during these days as positive and engaged students that brought the beautiful light of God in every step! We were overjoyed to have a few students highlighted throughout the week, and the troupe was also named a Bronze Honor Troupe for their achievements and excellence as a troupe throughout the year.

Thescon Opening/Closing Number

Kasara Haynes was a part of the Opening and Closing performance for the conference. She has been attending rehearsals for the last few months for this performance, and we are so proud of her hard work and dedication. She represented our school so well!

STATE THESPIAN OFFICER

Harper Gonzalez spent the conference training and transitioning into her new role of a State Thespian Officer. Chosen with only a few other students across the entire state, she will represent Trinity as well as all High School Thespians at the State level. We are so proud of her!

Georgia THESPY Callback

Students across the state submitted video auditions for the GA Thespy Awards. During this, students present their work to a panel of judges. We are so proud to share that Sophia Selleck received a callback for her solo Musical Theatre performance. Her talents shined as she got to perform her piece in person for a panel of judges!

FILM FEST

FILM FEST

Kasara Haynes directed, wrote, and produced a short film to submit for the GA Thescon Film Fest. Her short film was selected to be shown at the conference. Audiences enjoyed To Cookie or Not to Cookie and Kasara sat on a panel for audiences to ask questions about her process and experience. Other students involved include Payton Keroack, Brett Rogers, Bette Wise, Autumn Lesak, Lucy Hutchison, Eden Rose, and Eli Heath. Congrats to all involved!

ALL THINGS THEATRE

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Little Women, and all of our students who participated in the annual ThesCon conference in Columbus, GA.  33 students spent the long weekend in Columbus attending shows, clinics and workshops on all things related to Theatre.  This is a highlight of the year for these students, as they build on their community and knowledge base surrounded by thousands of other HS Thespians across the state of Georgia.

And this year our cast and crew of Little Women were able to perform their show at the conference.  We were one of 25 schools selected for this honor, and the students represented Trinity with excellence!  Way to go, Lions!

Matt Felton will be joining our staff overseeing all of our campus media systems and providing media support for Trinity events.  He has been with Trinity Church as our Sound Engineer for just over two years, and is now joining our team full time, serving both school and church.  Matt started his A/V experience in the Seattle area, serving in both church and freelance arenas.  He moved to the Atlanta area in 2022, and joined Trinity Church a year later.  He is married to his wife, Ntoh.

WELCOME - AARON SPENCER

Aaron Spencer - Live Media Production Teacher

Aaron Spencer grew up in a Montgomery, Alabama Christian home and went to church every time the doors were open. He began working in tech ministry at age 15 and has never looked back.  He got his professional start as an A/V tech at a live event production company in Jacksonville, Florida.  While there, he helped provide A/V support for the Jacksonville Jaguars as he worked on game day crew as a camera operator and instant replay operator.  He also covered the Florida/Georgia game every year and the Gator Bowl as well.  His next post took on the role of Production Director for Trinity Baptist Church, which he held for 8 years. During that time he was responsible for AVL technology for the church, the Pre-K -12 academy and their bible college.  He also taught a practical applications class on basic usage of AVL technology at their college.  He then responded to the call to move to Peachtree City, Georgia where his wife, Stephanie, now teaches MS Science at Trinity Christian School.  Aaron is the Technical Director for First Baptist Church, Peachtree City.  He has been married to Stephanie for 17 years, and they love their black lab, Zeus.

PEACHTREE CITY WIND ENSEMBLE HIGHLIGHTS

“PWE has been a great opportunity to work on advanced music outside of school, and it’s also a great way to be a part of your community and to grow more as a musician. I’ve enjoyed the convenience of PWE in terms of location, being only about 10 minutes away from where I live. It’s fun to meet people from your community and get to play with people from a variety of different age groups and skill levels. We have multiple concerts throughout the year and our practices are focused, helping us be prepared for our performances.”  - Jonathan Cook, 11th grade

ORCHESTRA HIGHLIGHTS

This Christmas season our MS and HS Orchestra students traveled to Peachtree City to minister to the residents of PruittPlace.  This is an assisted living facility, and we have given Christmas concerts there in the past - they were thrilled to have us back!  Well done to all of our string players - you represented the music program, your school, and your Lord well!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CAST OF LITTLE WOMEN

We are thrilled to announce that our High School One Act cast and crew of Little Women has been selected as one of only 24 schools to perform at the Georgia Theatre Conference this February in Columbus, GA!

This is a tremendous honor, as the conference welcomes more than 6,000 theatre students from across the state. Being chosen to perform places our students among the top high school theatre programs in Georgia and recognizes their outstanding talent, dedication, and hard work.

Please join us in congratulating our cast, crew, and directors for this remarkable achievement. We are so proud of the artistry they bring to our stage and excited to see them shine at the state level!

Bravo to our performers and technicians! THESCON, here we come!
