ALL THINGS THEATRE

Newsies! Audition Information

Georgia Thespian Conference 2026

This year, we were able to bring over 30 students to the Georgia Thespian Conference in Columbus, GA. Our students joined 6,000 High School Thespians from across the state of Georgia for three days of workshops, performances, and fellowship. Our Lions shined during these days as positive and engaged students that brought the beautiful light of God in every step! We were overjoyed to have a few students highlighted throughout the week, and the troupe was also named a Bronze Honor Troupe for their achievements and excellence as a troupe throughout the year.

Thescon Opening/Closing Number

Kasara Haynes was a part of the Opening and Closing performance for the conference. She has been attending rehearsals for the last few months for this performance, and we are so proud of her hard work and dedication. She represented our school so well!

STATE THESPIAN OFFICER

Harper Gonzalez spent the conference training and transitioning into her new role of a State Thespian Officer. Chosen with only a few other students across the entire state, she will represent Trinity as well as all High School Thespians at the State level. We are so proud of her!

Georgia THESPY Callback

Students across the state submitted video auditions for the GA Thespy Awards. During this, students present their work to a panel of judges. We are so proud to share that Sophia Selleck received a callback for her solo Musical Theatre performance. Her talents shined as she got to perform her piece in person for a panel of judges!

FILM FEST

Kasara Haynes directed, wrote, and produced a short film to submit for the GA Thescon Film Fest. Her short film was selected to be shown at the conference. Audiences enjoyed To Cookie or Not to Cookie and Kasara sat on a panel for audiences to ask questions about her process and experience. Other students involved include Payton Keroack, Brett Rogers, Bette Wise, Autumn Lesak, Lucy Hutchison, Eden Rose, and Eli Heath. Congrats to all involved!

College Audition Scholarship

MJ Poling auditioned for a group of Universities and Colleges that attended the conference. She received several callbacks as she represented the school with poise and talent!

Little Women Performance

Trinity Christian School was one of twenty five schools selected to perform their one act show at the conference. Audiences laughed, cried, and celebrated with our students as they presented their production of Little Women. We are so proud of this production and thrilled we got to share this beautiful story with the audiences in attendance.

INSTRUMENT REPAIR

We use Big Note Music for on site repair of many of our musical instruments.  If you have an instrument that needs repair, this may be a great option for you.  The process works with you filling out an online form, pre-paying for the repair, and then they come for a scheduled repair session right on our Trinity campus.  Your student wouldn’t be away from their instrument except when it’s on the repair table.  This convenient option has worked for us for a few years now.  Simply fill out the online form and let us know that a repair has been scheduled.
