A Message from the Principal

Mr. Wheeler’s Weekly Word of Encouragement

As we enter our final week of school before Thanksgiving Break, my heart is full of gratitude for each family in our High School community.  Your partnership, your prayers and your continual support shape the culture of love, excellence and purpose through the centrality of Christ here at Trinity.  As we prepare for Thanksgiving, please know it’s more than a holiday, it’s an invitation to pause and remember God’s goodness in our lives.  In seasons of busyness or challenge, gratitude recenters our hearts on the One who provides every blessing we have.  I have a lot to be thankful for, which includes the joy your students bring to our campus each day and for the privilege we have of investing in their spiritual, academic and personal growth.  As we prepare for the upcoming break, I pray your homes are filled with peace, rest and connectedness.  May this week remind us all that gratitude is not confined to a day, it is a posture of the heart that should never depart from us.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.”  Psalm 107:1

SAVE THE DATE!: COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP

The counseling department is hosting a college financial aid workshop on Monday, Nov. 17th from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Student Activities Center in Building 1. Ben Meadows from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be here to discuss the Hope Scholarship, state aid programs and share details about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This will be an informative meeting for seniors and their parents looking at ways to pay for college and complete all the necessary college financial aid documentation.

AUBURN COLLEGE REP VISIT THIS WEEK

Auburn University will have a representative on campus this coming Thursday, Nov. 20. Auburn has been an important college destination for Trinity students over the years, so we are fortunate to have them on campus. Interested students should connect with the representative over their lunch period.

11th GRADE PSAT RESULTS

PSAT results for 11th grade students who took the recent administration in October have been released. Students can find their results by logging in to their College Board account. We will also have the results posted in their Blackbaud dashboard as soon as possible.

FALL SEMESTER GRADES

The first semester is rapidly moving along, as we only have five weeks left in the grading period. Students should be aware of their current grade in each one of their classes and connect with their teacher for ways to improve their grade. This would include getting assignments completed on time, turning in late work that can still be accepted and using their Do-Over assignment opportunities if they have not already done so.

All failed courses remain on the transcript. Any course that is not passed will have to be made up in order to receive the necessary credit for graduation. Students who fail a semester course will be notified by the counseling department of their options for completing failed courses

SAT DATES FOR 2025-26

Registration for fall and spring administration of the SAT is now live. You can register online here through the College Board.

Seniors should consider taking the SAT during the fall semester of 2025 to improve their score for college admissions or scholarship opportunities.

Juniors should target the spring semester of 2026 for their first administration.
