MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Dear Trinity Families,
As we prepare for a week of frigid temperatures, with the possibility of rain and ice on the roads, I want to encourage our community to remain both vigilant and at peace. While the weather may be harsh, our hearts can remain steady, knowing that God is our protector and our refuge. His goodness is not diminished by the cold, and His care for our families, students, and faculty never wavers.
Please be sure to closely monitor your email and text messages, as we will communicate any school delays or closures promptly to ensure everyone’s safety. Your well-being is always our priority, and we are committed to making wise and timely decisions in these conditions.
“The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life” (Psalm 121:7). Let this truth be a source of comfort and confidence as we walk through the week together.
Additionally, please mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 5th at 8:30am for our next Coffee & Donuts with the Principal and Admin Team. This quarter we are discussing “Go Week”, our school ministry mission trip designed to serve locally, regionally and internationally. We value your partnership and look forward to hearing your heart for our school community.
Stay warm, stay safe, and stay encouraged. God is good and we trust Him to watch over Trinity in every season.

Please only donate Mac & Cheese boxes - NO CUPS. They can be dropped off by the main office of the high school in Building 5. Thank you in advance for helping those in need and supporting this great organization!

UPCOMING LOCAL COLLEGE FAIR
NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE WEEKEND AT
UNIV. OF NORTH GA
The University of North Georgia's Corps of Cadets will host National Leadership Challenge (NLC) Weekend March 27-29, 2026, for JROTC cadets and other high school students who are considering a military program in college. NLC Weekend is offered twice per year (fall and spring), and space is limited to 200 students per semester.
Students will rappel down a sheer rock cliff at the Army's Mountain Ranger Camp in Dahlonega, construct a rope bridge across a mountain stream, negotiate obstacle and leadership reaction course elements, observe demonstrations by UNG cadet organizations and meet some of our cadets. They will be assigned to small teams with current UNG cadets mentoring and guiding them through the weekend's events.

COWETA-FAYETTE EMC SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year, Coweta-Fayette EMC awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to seniors looking to attend four year colleges or trade schools. Their scholarships make it possible for students in the Coweta-Fayette EMC service area to achieve their dreams.
Four scholarships are now open. Applications are due by Jan. 31st. Click the link below for details on each scholarship and to apply.
LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Many local organizations are publishing their applications for high school seniors looking to fund their college or technical school education. We have created a scholarship resource document that lists these local scholarships, among many others from across the country. Check back to the document often as scholarship information will continue to be updated this spring as it becomes available.
SAT DATES FOR Spring 2026
Registration is open for the March, May, and June test dates for the digital SAT. Most colleges, including those that are test optional, consider SAT scores when making admission and placement decisions, and for certain scholarships.
Your SAT score is a proven way to show what you’ve learned and stands out on applications.
Below are the upcoming test dates and registration deadlines for the spring administration of the SAT. These are high target dates for 11th graders especially to be taking the SAT. These seats will fill up fast, so don’t delay in registering in order to get the date that you would like.
