MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Dear Trinity Families,
One of the most powerful truths we can rest in is this: we are deeply and unconditionally loved by Christ. Scripture reminds us that we are not just followers, but children of God. That identity shapes everything about who we are and how we live. “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are.” (1 John 3:1)
As His children, we are called to reflect His love in our daily actions, decisions, and relationships. Our staff models this beautifully each day through patience, grace, leadership, and servant-hearted care for our students. The way we speak, the way we teach, the way we correct, and the way we encourage all serve as living reminders of Christ’s love to those watching us. What a privilege it is to be used by Him in such an intentional and meaningful way.
When we truly understand how deeply we are loved, it changes how we love others. It strengthens our unity, renews our purpose, and reminds us that everything we do is ultimately for His glory.
As we continue this quarter together, we invite you to join us for our upcoming Coffee & Donuts gathering, where we will share the heart and vision behind GO Week. As a reminder, GO Week is more than an event on the calendar, it is an intentional opportunity for our students and staff to live out Christ’s love through service, which we believe is a branch of our faith in action. These mornings are designed to create space for connection and a deeper understanding of how God is shaping our High School.
We hope you will join us on Thursday, February 5th at 8:30 a.m. in the MPR as we look ahead together and celebrate the ways God is calling Trinity to love and serve beyond our campus.

Last week in Chapel
Last week in High School Chapel, Dr. Anthony invited students to reflect on the Tenth Commandment, “You shall not covet,”and what it reveals about the human heart. Through the biblical story of King Ahab and Naboth’s vineyard, students saw how coveting begins not with outward actions but with inward desires, and how unchecked comparison can quietly shape our attitudes, relationships, and sense of worth.
Connecting the commandment with the Lord’s Prayer, students explored how Jesus teaches us to move from coveting to contentment - learning to trust God’s provision and to find joy in what He has already given. Practical, relatable stories from high school life illustrated how comparison often shows up in academics, friendships, athletics, and social media, and how a spirit of gratitude can transform the way we see ourselves and others.
The chapel concluded with a simple challenge: students were encouraged to name what they are tempted to covet and to intentionally practice gratitude, discovering that contentment is not about having more, but about learning to see life as a gift from God. Our prayer is that students continue to grow in hearts marked by gratitude, humility, and deep trust in Christ.
Come join us February 5th 8:30AM in the MPR for Coffee (&tea) and Donuts with the Principal and Admin team! RSVP Here!
