MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Dear Trinity Families,

One of the great comforts of our faith is this truth: “God is more than enough.”  In every season, whether marked by challenge or celebration, He meets us exactly where we are. When we feel stretched, tired, or unsure, God does not ask us to supply what we lack; He simply asks us to trust the One who never lacks.  Scripture reminds us, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Did you catch that…..Not some needs…...Not most needs…..But EVERY NEED.

As a school community, we experience many seasons, whether it’s busy weeks, big performances, academic pressures, family transitions or moments of celebration. Through it all, we can rest in the assurance that God’s grace is sufficient, His timing is perfect and His presence is constant. When we rely on Him, we discover that what feels overwhelming to us is never overwhelming to Him.

My prayer this week is that our students, staff and our families would walk in confidence and not in their own strength, but in the knowledge that the Lord goes before them. He is more than enough for today and He will be more than enough for tomorrow.

Performing Arts Celebration

We would like to extend a heartfelt shout-out to our Performing Arts Department and to every student who participated in “The Little Mermaid”. My family and I had the joy of attending Sunday’s performance and I could not have been more proud of our students. Their preparation and commitment were evident in every scene.

Congratulations to our Performing Arts Director, Lizzie Perez, for her vision, leadership and continued investment in our students, even during a season of great personal joy. We also want to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Nicholas Yeakley, who graciously stepped in to support the program while Lizzie was on FMLA welcoming baby Esther.  I also want to thank the many parent volunteers who put in countless hours in preparation for this event.  THANK YOU!

This production was a beautiful reminder of what happens when hard work meets talent and teamwork.  Well done to all.  Our Trinity community is better because of you!

Last week in Chapel

Last week Griffin Gulledge, pastor of FBC Fayetteville, preached to TCS students in HS chapel. His teaching reminded students that the Third Commandment calls us to honor God’s name—not just with our words, but with our lives. God’s name represents who He is: holy, faithful, and worthy of reverence. We break this commandment not only through careless speech, but when we claim God’s name yet live in ways that misrepresent Him. Jesus teaches us to pray, “Hallowed(Holy) be your name,” asking that God’s holiness would be honored in the world and in us. For Christians, this prayer reshapes everyday life: our speech, choices, and character are meant to reflect the greatness of the God whose name we bear.
