MR. WHEELER’S WEEKLY WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Dear Trinity Families,
As we continue moving forward together, I’m reminded that what makes Trinity Christian School so special is not just our programs, performances, or academic rigor; it is our shared commitment to Christ and to one another. This season of the year can feel full. Academics are pressing forward. Athletics are competing with excellence. Fine Arts are preparing for performances. Families are balancing full schedules. Yet in the midst of all of it, we remain grounded in what matters most, our relationship with Jesus Christ. At Trinity, we are not simply trying to finish this school year. We are shaping hearts. We are strengthening minds. We are forming character. We are cultivating a Christ-centered community that will impact generations.
Coweta County STAR Student & STAR Teacher Recognition
This week, Trinity Christian School had the distinct honor of attending the Coweta County STAR Student and STAR Teacher Recognition Program alongside fellow county high schools including East Coweta High School, The Heritage School, Newnan High School, Northgate High School and Central Christian School.
We are incredibly proud to announce that our 2026 STAR Student is Senior, Laura Lawton. The STAR Student honor is awarded to a senior who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and excellence. A meaningful part of this recognition is that the STAR Student selects the teacher who has made the greatest impact on their educational journey.
Laura selected her AP Biology teacher, Mrs. Christy Faircloth, as her STAR Teacher, which is a reflection not only of academic excellence but of mentorship and faithful investment.
At Trinity Christian School, we believe that education is ministry. Moments like this remind us that when teachers pour into students with both rigor and heart, the impact lasts far beyond the classroom.
We proudly celebrate Laura Lawton and Mrs. Christy Faircloth as tremendous representatives of Trinity Christian School. Their achievement reflects the strength of our academic programs, the dedication of our faculty and the Christ-centered culture that defines who we are.
We could not be more proud.

Jesus teaches us to pray for daily bread in Matthew 6:11. We pray daily for bread to show our dependence on God, who ultimately provides for us through Jesus. Every time we pray for God to give us our daily bread, we are not simply just asking for physical sustenance but confessing that only Christ can sustain us daily and for all eternity. What Jesus teaches us to pray in Matthew 6:11 he also teaches us is fulfilled in a greater way in John 6 through himself.
