Walking Together: Putting Our Faith Into Action

As we continue Walking Together, GO Week provides an exciting opportunity for our students to take their faith beyond the classroom and into the world. With registration now underway, we are encouraged by the enthusiasm of our families as we prepare for a week of meaningful service, which puts into motion something special.  As our students step out in faith and pour their hearts into serving others, something remarkable happens: their own faith begins to grow. They witness the Holy Spirit working through their hands and hearts to impact the lives of others. It is in these moments that faith moves beyond what they know to what they experience and spiritual growth becomes truly life-changing.

Freshman and Sophomore registration opens Monday, October 12, at 8:00 AM. We encourage families to register early, as space is limited for many of our destinations.

GO Week is about more than where our students will go; it's about who they are becoming along the way. Whether serving locally, regionally, or internationally, our prayer is that students will grow in their relationship with Christ, develop a heart for others and discover the joy of making Him known.

Together, we are not simply preparing students for the future; we are preparing them to make a difference for Christ today.

As we continue walking together, may we know God more deeply, make Him known more faithfully and trust Him to guide every step we take. May the Lord bless you and your family this week.

As we celebrate Homecoming, I am reminded that some of the best parts of school are the moments that bring us together. Our theme this year is ENGAGEMENT.  Weeks like this certainly give our students opportunities to engage with their school, their classmates and their community in ways that create lasting memories.

As we look ahead, I also want to personally invite our High School parents to our GO Week Parent Night this Monday, October 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Life Center. This will be an important evening as we share where our students will be serving, what they will be doing, trip details, costs and how GO Week gives our students the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

We hope you will join us as we prepare for another meaningful opportunity for our students to Know God and Make Him Known.

As we continue walking together, may we know God more deeply, make Him known more faithfully and trust Him to guide every step we take. May the Lord bless you and your family this week.
