Walking Together:

A New Season, A Renewed Commitment

As we welcome the beauty of Fall and begin the second quarter of the school year, we are reminded that each new season brings opportunities for growth and renewed purpose. It is hard to believe we have already completed the first quarter! The weeks ahead provide a wonderful opportunity to build upon the foundation established during these first nine weeks.

As parents, your partnership plays an invaluable role in your child's academic journey. I encourage you to take time to celebrate their successes and have meaningful conversations about their goals for the second quarter. Whether your student has experienced a strong academic start or encountered challenges along the way, there is still tremendous opportunity to make a difference in their academic progress. Sometimes, the greatest growth begins with a simple conversation at home and a renewed commitment to making the most of each day in the classroom.

At Trinity, we believe education is about much more than grades. We want our students to discover the value of hard work and understand that their daily effort matters. Colossians 3:23 tells us that “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” My hope is that our students will embrace this mindset, recognizing that the effort they put into their education today is helping prepare them for the opportunities God has ahead.

As we continue walking together, may we know God more deeply, make Him known more faithfully and trust Him to guide every step we take. May the Lord bless you and your family this week.

COLLEGE PLANNING

Rejoicing Through Suffering

Sam Howard: Romans 5:1–11

In this week’s chapel, Sam Howard reminded our students that because we are justified through Christ, we can rejoice even when life is difficult. Romans 5 teaches us to rejoice in our right standing with God, trust His work in our suffering, and look forward to the future with hope because we have been reconciled to Him. While the gospel does not necessarily change our difficult circumstances, it transforms us through endurance and reminds us that we are never forgotten or beyond the reach of God’s love. As Jesus reminds us in John 16:33, we will face trouble in this world, but we can take heart in Him. Students were challenged to return to what Christ has done for them, bring their pain honestly before God, and allow the love they have received from Him to shape the love they extend to others.
