Walking Together:

Celebrating the Class of 2027

One of the great joys of this time of year is watching our seniors begin to see the rewards of their hard work as college acceptance letters and scholarship offers arrive.  These moments are exciting not only for our students but also for the parents who have walked alongside them throughout their educational journey.  Each acceptance represents an opportunity and each scholarship offer is a wonderful accomplishment worth celebrating.

As our seniors begin receiving these offers, we want to hear about every college acceptance and every academic or athletic scholarship awarded, regardless of whether the student ultimately plans to attend that institution.  We encourage families to send copies of their acceptance letters and scholarship offers to our College Counseling Department at college.bound@tcslions.org.

To our Class of 2027 and their families, we are so proud of you!  We look forward to celebrating what God has in store for each of you as you prepare for the next chapter of your journey.

As we continue walking together, may we know God more deeply, make Him known more faithfully and trust Him to guide every step we take.  May the Lord bless you and your family this week.

COLLEGE PLANNING

"During our National Safe Driving Week assembly, students were challenged to consider how employing God’s wisdom leads to good decision-making in driving and transportation. Safe driving requires intentional choices, personal responsibility, and a willingness to consider how our actions affect others. Students were also deeply encouraged by the remarkable Molly Welch, who shared how her life was forever changed in a single moment of distracted driving. Her powerful testimony served as a sobering reminder that one moment of inattention can have lifelong consequences. As students consider their future behind the wheel, they were encouraged to honor God and love their neighbors by practicing wisdom, exercising self-control, and making safe, responsible decisions every time they travel."
