The Principal’s Piece: A Note From Mrs. Randolph
I’m excited to share with you that we have begun a new chapel series: “T.H.I.N.K. Before You Speak!” Over the course of six lessons, students will be learning about the power of their words and how God calls us to use them to build others up.
Each week, we’ll focus on one part of the T.H.I.N.K. acronym:
T – Is it True?
H – Is it Helpful?
I – Is it Inspiring?
N – Is it Necessary?
K – Is it Kind?
We will be using this same framework throughout the school day so that students are consistently reminded of how God calls us to speak.
Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Together, we can help our children choose words that honor God, encourage others, and reflect the love of Christ.

Chapel Moments
We had a great time in Chapel this week as Mrs. Moore began our new series titled, T.H.I.N.K Before You Speak. In the first lesson, we discussed that words have power to build up others or tear them down. Through the story of creation found in Genesis 1-3, we talked about the power of God's words and how He used them to create the world! We also introduced the acronym T.H.I.N.K which is a tool to help students remember to ask themselves five essential questions before speaking: Is what you are about to say, True, Helpful, Inspiring, Necessary, and Kind.
Whatchagaddaknow: “I Will Use My Words Carefully!”
Power Verse: “May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to you.” Psalm 23:3
